Exclusive Use Mansion House
Exclusive use weddings in Fife. Celebrate your wedding day exclusively at Hill of Tarvit Mansion, one of Scotland’s finest Edwardian mansion houses. Set in stunning gardens at the heart of the beautiful Fife countryside, and only 12 miles west of St Andrews, Hill of Tarvit was designed by Sir Robert Lorimer to showcase Mr F.B Sharp’s outstanding collection of furniture, art and antiques.
Today, this elegant and gracious country house with manicured lawns provides an intimate and exclusive venue for civil, religious and humanist ceremonies. The Great Hall, with its wooden panelling and 16th century Flemish tapestries, is an atmospheric and romantic setting for ceremonies with up to 70 guests and drinks receptions for up to 100 guests.
During spring and summer, guests can wander freely through the open French doors, champagne flute in hand, and admire the breathtaking views from the south-facing terrace. The sweeping stone staircase leads majestically to the Lorimer-inspired gardens, with colourful borders, yew hedges and a rose garden – perfect for wedding photography and alfresco celebrations.
The ornate Dining Room can seat up to 50 guests for a sumptuous wedding breakfast, and for larger gatherings; a stylish marquee for up to 300 can be accommodated on the lawns.
