The wonderful chateau-esqe Plas Cilybebyll is an Historic Welsh Estate with a recorded history dating back to the early 15th century. Set in stunning grounds and fabulous surroundings, the exclusive use house provides secluded luxury and privacy in an idyllic rural location.
Having recently been refurbished to the highest possible standard but with respect to the original character, this beautiful country residence is the perfect venue for a family gathering, re-union or simply for a group of friends to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The exclusive use property boasts many impressive features, none more so than the 10m x 4m internal swimming pool. Externally there are two pond gardens, a domed folly and adjoining tennis court.
Exclusive Use House
The Plas is an exclusive use property which can accommodate eighteen guests. The main house consists of 9 double rooms with 6 bathrooms. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished with spectacular use of oak in the main family bathroom and maple in the master bedroom's en-suite.
The kitchen is fitted with French shaker style units in Ash beneath polished granite work surfaces and to the far end is a large family dining table. The sitting room is beautifully presented, has a large flat screen television and an impressive open fire.
There are two further reception rooms on the ground floor where guests can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Wi-fi is available throughout the house and there is a study for those requiring a work space.
Plas Cilybebyll operates on a self catered basis but we are very happy to recommend local catering companies and a host of other suppliers where required.
Plas Cilybebyll is situated near Cilybebyll a small village within the parish of Neath, Port Talbot. The area around Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea is rich in history and abundant with outdoor activities within a short drive away. The beautiful falls at Neath and at Pont Nedd Fechan, the fabulous Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park and the beautiful beaches of the Gower Peninsula are just a few of the spectacular places to visit and all within easy reach.
For those with a love of golf it is worth noting that the house is not far from The Celtic Manor – home to the 2010 Ryder Cup. |
