Guests can chill out in this relaxed and totally private estate and be assured of a memorable holiday with family or groups of friends. The main house has a fully equipped professional kitchen and laundry room. The property benefits from under floor heating and air conditioning in the main rooms and some bedrooms. All rooms have overhead ceiling fans. Due to its location at 845 metres above sea level, the Cortijo enjoys balmy pleasant night time temperatures of around 22 ºc in July and August.

The main house has 8 en suite bedrooms, individually styled with luxury beds, soft linen, designer toiletries, flat screen television, DVD and CD. Each bedroom pays tribute to a famous Spanish artist, all have been furnished in a traditional Andalucian style, with some contemporary touches.

There is an additional annex, which is accessed from the inner entrance courtyard, offering a further 2 en suite bedrooms, a living room and private terrace with jacuzzi, sun beds and sitting area.

A Pampering Experience

For the ultimate pampering experience, we offer our serenity wellness room. A specially designed treatment room where our guests can arrange a treatment from our range of therapies. The therapist will come by appointment. We can also organise private pilates lessons for our guests during their stay .... then there is our sauna room, poolside jacuzzi, our 12 x 6 metre heated swimming pool and for the more energetic our all weather artificial grass tennis court and mountain bikes for you to explore the surrounding countryside.

Horse riding for groups of 2 or more can also be arranged locally. Steps down from the main house lead to the pool and terraces with their amazing views to the El Torcal Park. There is a fully equipped pool house, which has a kitchen, showers and toilets, a bar, large gas barbeque, a covered dining terrace, fully equipped with dining table and chairs for 20. Our Holistic treatment room and sauna is also located in the pool house.

Private, Exclusive Natural Beauty

From La Posada del Torcal you can access the staggering natural beauty and restorative qualities of the glorious Andalucian countryside, or simply melt into a sun lounger by the pool and lose yourself in a good book – or the view! From the poolside terrace there is the access to the all weather tennis court. Tennis lessons can be arranged locally with ex British Davis Cup tennis player John Paish.

For golf enthusiast, the Antequera Golf course is only 16kms away from the Cortijo. Clubs can be rented from the golf club.
