Fountainhead Retreat Hotel is small
and unique. A weekend destination hotel with all-suite
accommodation set in a wild and beautiful location.
A hotel that is built on privacy, that is modern
and simple in its design and that has an overall
ambience of tranquility and gentle harmony. It is
a retreat from the outside world. Within the suites
there are no phones, screens or hook-up points. No
maids to disturb – but every detail taken care
of. Each one an oasis in which to recharge, relax
and rejuvenate. The hotel offers an effortless blend
of discretion, privacy and informality with a small
background team that aim to see that a stay
at Fountainhead is ‘an experience’ to
be had and not just a place to feel at home.
Fountainhead is perfectly situated, hidden away in
one of Andalucía’s most beautiful
regions. It is far enough off the beaten track
(literally 2km off road drive) to be a small adventure
yet within easy access to the airports at Malaga
(40mins) and Granada (70mins) to make a long weekend
stay possible and enjoyable. Taxi transfers can
be arranged or reserve car hire direct from the
airport.
All the suites are private and separate. All have
stunning mountain views, a private terrace and
plunge pool. Each suite is different with a striking
mix of rustic charm and luxurious glamour. All
suites have a king sized bedroom, bathroom, living
area with log stove fireplace, dining area and
cooking facilities. They are well equipped including
a CD deck. They are cooled naturally by ceiling
fans.
Fountainhead Restaurant offers award-wining cooking
that is modern and healthy. The menu reflects and
combines sophisticated world flavours with the ‘fruits
of the earth’ of Andalucía. The Restaurant
uses local and much homegrown produce including
its own olive oil, almonds and herbs harvested
from the site. The Restaurant has a private dining
room with mountain views. An intimate lounge bar
and open-air courtyard. It provides a traiteur
and bar service for in suite dining. It also has
WiFi access.
The Bath House offers a unique and totally private
relaxation session. Float by candlelight in mineral
rich waters aided by essential oils and soothing
sounds to ensure complete relaxation. Massages
available in the Bath House or in suite.
It is possible to take the hotel for sole use, accommodating
8-10 guests.
For business: Fountainhead can offer 24 hour tailor
made service, airport transfers, private meeting
and dining facilities, organized shopping trips or
local tours for groups or spouses. Meetings over
brunch or lunch, access to WiFi. It is a perfect
atmosphere in which to clear the mind or to brain
storm within calm and natural surroundings. It can
also be offered as a reward package.
For families: Fountainhead is small enough to gather
a family or group of friends together for a reunion
or celebration. The group can enjoy the surroundings,
feel free and at home within the hotel to use as
their own. Children are welcome and extra beds can
be provided. Picnics and walking trails can be arranged.

an intimate small scale wedding reception in romantic

The Bath House converts to an intimate chapel like
