Fountainhead Retreat Hotel is small, unique rural retreat hotel in the mountains above Malaga, Andalucia. Fountainhead Retreat Hotel is perfectly situated, hidden away in one of Andalucía’s most beautiful regions. It is far enough off the beaten track (literally 2km off road drive) to be a small adventure yet within easy access to the airports at Malaga (40mins) and Granada (70mins) to make a long weekend stay possible and enjoyable. Taxi transfers can be arranged or reserve car hire direct from the airport.
All Suite Hotel
All suites at the hotel are private and separate. All have stunning mountain views, a private terrace and plunge pool. Each suite is different with a striking mix of rustic charm and luxurious glamour. All suites have a king sized bedroom, bathroom, living area with log stove fireplace, dining area and cooking facilities. They are well equipped including a CD deck. They are cooled naturally by ceiling fans.
Fountainhead Restaurant offers award-wining cooking that is modern and healthy. The menu reflects and combines sophisticated world flavours with the ‘fruits of the earth’ of Andalucía. The Restaurant uses local and much homegrown produce including its own olive oil, almonds and herbs harvested from the site. The Restaurant has a private dining room with mountain views. An intimate lounge bar and open-air courtyard. It provides a traiteur and bar service for in suite dining. It also has WiFi access.
The Bath House offers a unique and totally private relaxation session. Float by candlelight in mineral rich waters aided by essential oils and soothing sounds to ensure complete relaxation. Massages available in the Bath House or in suite.
Exclusive Use
It is possible to take the hotel for your own exclusive use, accommodating 8-10 guests.
For business: Fountainhead can offer 24 hour tailor made service, airport transfers, private meeting and dining facilities, organized shopping trips or local tours for groups or spouses.
