Luxury Hotels & Holidays in Italy |
Italy is undoubtedly
a very beautiful country, and has some stunning
luxury hotels and venues to
enjoy the country, hospitality and most importantly
... make it a very exclusive
holiday. Italy is certainly
famous for its styling and fashion, but Italy is also
seen as a very special romantic country. It is also
home to some very beautiful and unique hotels, villas
and apartments. A place famous for olive oil, pasta,
wine, sunshine, roman ruins and renaissance palaces,
Italy has a lot to offer its tourists and visitors
in the cities of Rome, Naples, Florence and many more.
Although some of these are amazing and interesting,
it would be a shame if that was the only thing you
come away with.
Islands of Sicily, Sardinia & Capri
The Island of Sicily is the biggest island
in the Mediterranean, separated from the Italian peninsula
by the strait of Messina. It has important mountain groups:
Peloritani, Nebrodi, Madonie, Iblei. Palermo is the regional
capital. The Island of Capri on the other
hand sits in the Bay of Naples and is a very desirable island
to visit and a very popular with newly weds for their
honeymoon. Sardinia is an ancient island rich
in history and legends and has traces of human settlements
dated from the Neolithic Age. The climate allows to have a very
long summer season which usually runs from April to November.
Venice & the Amalfi Coast
Romantic Venice is very unusually built on one
worlds most spectacular waterways, consisting of one hundred and
seventeen small islands, and networked with one hundred and fifty
canals, and crossed by an staggering four hundred and nine
bridges. In contrast, the Amalfi Coast with its
cliff hugging roads and houses, is truly magnificent and one of
the most spectacular roads to drive in the world. Up in the north,
next to the Alps and the landscapes of the Po
River, many cultural gems and highly developed industrial cities
fascinate. In this exciting country the people live the
"la vita Italiana".
The well known territory of Puglia (or Apulia in
English) is a long, narrow peninsula, mostly occupied by plains
and hills, apart from some lower mountains of the Southern Apennine
chain and the Gargano promontory, with high, steep cliffs. |
