Beaucastle Estate is described as a fairy tale castle with its quirky roofscape, romantic tower, spires and fine carved oak paneling. The house is a truly magnificent example of the Arts and Crafts movement philosophy.
A part of the Amazing Retreats group, Beaucastle is situated at the top of a hill in 12 acres and with stunning views over ancient woodland bordering the Wyre Forest, the house never ceases to surprise. Around every corner there are new things to be discovered. The Venetian bachelors staircase and balcony, the ornate iron work, the tower and the elaborate vaulted ceiling of the Drawing Room, are just the start of an unfolding journey.
Exclusive Use House
The exclusive use house has recently been entirely refurbished to an exacting and extremely high standard and now offers total seclusion and privacy at the end of a quarter of a mile drive. All of the main reception rooms are of a good size and the house makes an excellent venue for family gatherings, re-unions or simply a group of friends to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Outside, the gardens are spectacular and beautifully maintained. The lawns meander around trees and shrubs and borders with the old carriage drive crossing an arched bridge beside the lake.
The house consists of seven double rooms and seven bathrooms. All bedrooms are beautifully furnished and have wonderful views across rolling countryside. Downstairs, there is a fully fitted modern kitchen, dining room, drawing room with substantial marbled open fireplace and two further reception rooms.
A games room containing a full size Billiards table is also available. There are a host of local attractions and local walks and Bewdley has some excellent restaurants and pubs. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Beaucastle operates on a self catered basis but we are very happy to recommend local catering companies and a whole host of other suppliers. |
