Skrobelev Gods is magnificent, when the impressive wrought
iron gates close behind you its time to start enjoying being
the “Lord of the Manor”. From the moment you
arrive you will instantly feel the aristocratic atmosphere,
the awesome features of the courtyard, tranquil green meadows
with its colourful strutting peacocks, cascading fountain,
moat and the bridge which leads you to the traditional Danish
church.
The stunning Manor House has been completely renovated, so
that today we can offer you a perfect countryside setting for
an exclusive venue. The ocean and the wonderful city of
Rudkøbing are only some 3 kilometers away.
We cater for all types of celebrations nothing is too large or
too small. Our professional staff will organize your “once
in a lifetime” wedding, anniversary, birthday party,
private conference, or simply a well-deserved break with
plenty of outdoor activities and fresh air. Skrøbelev Gods
even has its own stables and paddock.
In the middle of what Hans Christian Andersen called
“Denmark's garden” is where Skrøbelev Gods is
situated. It was build in 1669 and originated in
an extravagant and aristocratic period, Langeland still is a favourite
retreat for visiting holiday makers.
The tastefully furnished suites of the Manor House
are quite exquisite, no two suites are the same.
Upon entering one experiences a feeling of glamour,
warmth and comfort. Kick off your shoes, sit back
and relax. The Manor House is of a tasteful combination
of the old and the new. Its beautiful ceilings
and antique furniture, gold mirrors, Chesterfield
furniture, crystal chandeliers, and wonderful old
carpets all combined give the Manor House its unbeatable
charm.

- View the Naturama modern natural history museum in Svendborg.

Lyø, Avernakø.
- Visit Hans Christian Andersen’s house in Odense.
- Visit Odense Zoo.
- Visit the Egeskov Castle.
- Visit Valdemars castle in Tåsinge.
- Visit Knuthenborg Safari Park.
- Visit the well- known Lego land in Billund, only 2 hours drive.
- Copenhagen is only a 2 hour drive away, visit “Tivoli”
Amusement Park.
- Fly by helicopter or seaplane over the breathtaking views of the
vast bay, with its numerous islets and the impressive bridge over
the water leading to Copenhagen. Take part in the variety of
nautical sports available.
Skrøbelev Gods is very suitable for riding, within the Estate
there is an outdoor dressage area with international measurements
with an adjacent horse-jumping arena with competitive fences and
water jumps. The Estate has 6 horse stables available to guests. The
forest has an adventure path winding through it for those guests who
enjoy walking or outdoor activities. |
